Who We Are
Operated by a Retired Disabled Verteran who served 26 years in the United States Airforce. We started a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit, all volunteer organization in 2014. We provide both disaster recovery operations and Volunteer Management Services within Oklahoma. We now have stepped out side the state lines of Oklahoma and have provided relief efforts in Kansas, Missiouri, and Texas.
Our founder's passion
Our founder, Rick Aldridge, has a deep passion for helping others when they have lost everything and what was once a sense of normal has been taken away in a matter of minutes of a tornado or a matter of hours when flood water seem to keep rising as the rain continues to fall. Disaster Response is something like a dream come true for Rick. He first he gave 26 years serving our country in the Airforce. 1981 He started his Disaster Relief Project at Mount St Helens. He more than enough passion, experience and the credentials to come into a community and get things done to help those in need.
He is also well aware of the deep impact serving our country can have on many of our veterans. As a nation, we lose on average, 22 veterans a day to suicide. OKERT was created to assist in the fight to stop that from happening. OKERT will provide our veterans with mission and reintegration with our neighbors through volunteering.
